Arcbotix ("we", "this site") is a robotics engineering blog. This page explains what data is collected when you visit, and how you can control it.

Analytics and session replay

We use PostHog, an analytics provider hosted in the EU (eu.i.posthog.com), to understand which articles are useful and how visitors navigate the site. This can include anonymized session replay (a recording of on-page interactions, with all form inputs and text masked) to help us improve layout and content.

No tracking before consent

No analytics script is loaded, and no analytics cookie or local storage entry is set, until you click "Accept" on the consent banner shown on your first visit. If you click "Decline", or simply ignore the banner, PostHog is never loaded and no analytics data about you is collected. We only store your consent choice itself (in your browser's local storage) so we don't ask you again.

What is collected after consent

• Pages visited, referrer, device/browser type, approximate location (from IP, not stored as raw IP)
• Click and scroll interaction events (autocapture)
• Anonymized session replay recordings, with all text inputs masked

We do not sell this data or share it with advertising networks. We do not run ad-tracking pixels.

Changing your choice

To withdraw consent, clear your browser's local storage for this site (or use private/incognito browsing) and reload the page; the consent banner will reappear.
